Last December 2 and 3, the Football Manila was invited to attend the SPIA ASIA 2019 Conference and Awarding at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.
Four representatives of Football Manila and Lewis Glanz Consulting were sent to attend the said conference.
They really had fun and learnt a lot from the different big personalities in sports around Asia. Aside from talking about the sports, they also talked about the different sides of its businesses.
One speaker of that event named Mr. Ramon Suzara, the Chief Operating Officer of the Philippines SEA Games Organizing Committee discussed about what happened in this year’s SEA Games. He told us that despite of all the criticisms that were thrown to them at the first part of the event, one thing kept them motivated we’re the smiles of the athletes around the South East Asia that we’re the biggest among everything during that moment. The team kept their eye in their goal, and that is to have the BEST SEA GAMES EVER. They didn’t fail their audiences, because during the opening everyone was amazed and all of those criticisms faded away. Maybe those people who criticized them made them realize that there is somethin that they could have been better, and they really did it.
A lot of conferences and talks were held during that two day event. People accross Asia joined together to learn and to share their knowledge and experiences in the field of business and sports.
A lot of sports personalities were also present in that 2-day conference. The Azkals Juniors, The Football Legend Ronaldo De Lima, and the Bayern Munich Football “Superfan” Michael Zeman.
Panels were held as well. Another lesson that we learned from that conference was that diversity is now changing the game. There has been diversification in diversity that grown in its scope.
This conference has been a good training ground for LGC and Football Manila’s employees to know more about the sports and the business. The lessons they have learned in the SPIA ASIA 2019 will surely be treasured and pass on to their working environment.
